The Audubon Bookmark Collection
For the birdwatchers, the nature lovers, and anyone who has ever found themselves pausing to admire a bird perched on a branch, these bookmarks are for you.
Featuring bird illustrations from my Field Notes series, this collection brings some of the birds you might encounter while birdwatching between the pages of your favorite book. Each illustration was inspired by my own lifelong love of birds and those quiet moments spent slowing down to notice them.
Growing up, I could spend ages watching birds gather at my grandparents' bird feeder, asking about the ones I didn't recognize and slowly learning to notice the little differences between them. Those memories eventually became the inspiration for my Field Notes series, and now they can accompany you in a slightly different way - as little pieces of art tucked between the pages of a book.
I have always been an avid reader, but I could never seem to find bookmarks that I actually enjoyed using. More often than not, I would find myself reaching for whatever scrap of paper happened to be nearby to hold my place.
Eventually, I decided to make my own.
These bookmarks were born from that simple idea: creating little pieces of art that I would genuinely be happy to tuck between the pages of a book. Something beautiful to come across each time I opened my book, turning an ordinary little necessity into another opportunity to enjoy a moment of beauty.
Of course, a bookmark still has to do its job. Each one is crafted with care and attention to detail, with rounded corners to help prevent accidentally catching or damaging the corners of your book. A tassel makes it easy to find your place again, while the hole has been reinforced with a clear reinforcement label to help keep the tassel securely in place without distracting from the artwork.
Whether you're settling in with a good novel after a morning of birdwatching or simply looking for a little reminder of nature while you read, these bookmarks bring a bit of the outdoors along with you.
A little art between the pages. A little reminder to slow down. And a quiet invitation to get lost in the story.
