This piece was created during the week that our oldest cat, Lily, was sick. More specifically, on a day that we were feeling hopeful for her recovery.
Maybe I was drawn to capture this because it was like a reflection of how we were feeling.
A stormy sky. A chaotic whir of motion. The waves breaking on the shores.
But, there was a beauty amidst the chaos set into motion here that drew me in.
There was a beauty in the life Lily shared with us for the seven years we had her. There was a beauty in how Zach lovingly tended to her when I couldn’t. There was beauty in the love we had for her.
Life is always in motion. At different times, things feel chaotic, but even in the chaos, it is possible for beauty to still be found.
