There is something special about finding a little piece of art tucked between the pages of a book.
The Painted Bookmark Collection brings together a few of my favorite painted scenes, each inspired by the beauty found in nature. From glowing sunsets and lush Monstera leaves to colorful desert landscapes and captivating ocean waves, each bookmark captures a different little moment worth pausing to notice.
I wanted these bookmarks to feel like more than simply something to hold your place. They are little pieces of art meant to accompany you as you read, something beautiful to discover each time you open your book.
I have always been an avid reader, but I could never seem to find bookmarks that I actually enjoyed using. More often than not, I would find myself reaching for whatever scrap of paper happened to be nearby to hold my place.
Eventually, I decided to make my own.
These bookmarks were born from that simple idea: creating little pieces of art that I would genuinely be happy to tuck between the pages of a book. Something to come across each time I opened my book, turning an ordinary little necessity into another opportunity to enjoy a moment of beauty.
Of course, a bookmark still has to do its job. Each one is crafted with care and attention to detail, with rounded corners to help prevent accidentally catching or damaging the corners of your book. A tassel makes it easy to find your place again, while the hole has been reinforced with a clear reinforcement label to help keep the tassel securely in place without distracting from the artwork.
Whether you're settling in with an old favorite, getting lost in a new story, or simply carrying a book along for the day, I hope these little painted moments bring a bit of beauty to the pages between them.
